Dean Drako
President and CEO
Dean drives IC Manage’s strategy and business direction, as the company delivers technology to address the demanding design data & IP management problems of systems and semiconductor companies. Dean was founder and CEO of Barracuda Networks, which went public as a unicorn company. Previously, he was founder and CEO of Design Acceleration, which he sold to Cadence Design Systems. He has a BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from University of Michigan and UC Berkeley, respectively.
Shiv Sikand
Executive VP
Shiv has been instrumental in achieving IC Manage’s technology leadership in design data management and IP lifecycle management, hybrid cloud technology, and big data analytics for more than 20 years. Sikand collaborates with major systems and semiconductor leaders in deploying IC Manage’s infrastructure and technologies across their enterprises. He received his BSc and MSc degrees in Physics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Manchester, in addition to his postgraduate research in Computer Science.
Mike Whalen
VP of Worldwide Sales
Mike has been instrumental in helping IC Manage expand its customer base and increase revenue by forging strong business and technology relationships with industry leaders. Prior to IC Manage, Mike held sales management positions at InnoLogic (acquired by Synopsys), Carbon Design Systems (acquired by ARM) and Synfora (acquired by Synopsys). Mike received his BSEE from Loyola Marymount University and MSEE from the University of Southern California.
Roger March
Chief Technology Officer
Roger architected the current design data management solution and continues to improve performance and scalability for global multi-site design. Previously, Roger worked at Matrix Semiconductor, where he designed and helped build most of their CAD infrastructure. He was also principal engineer in the microprocessor division at Silicon Graphic and worked at MIPS, Data General and Zilog. He has a BSEE from San Jose State University.
Gary Gendel
Chief Software Architect
Gary works closely with IC Manage customers to assess their future needs as he designs and implements IC Manage products. Before IC Manage, he was CTO of Genashor Corp where he developed products for several EDA and IC design companies. He was a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at Sarnoff Corporation, Harris Semiconductor, and RCA. Gary received his BSEE, MSEE, MSCS, and MS Bio Engineering degrees from New Jersey Institute of Technology. He holds 6 patents.
Robert Murphy
VP of Engineering
Murf leads IC Manage’s engineering team in delivering advanced design & IP management, cloud and storage acceleration technologies to semiconductor companies. Prior to IC Manage, he had multiple decades of semiconductor design experience including Firenza, LLC (Memory IP), and management roles at Silicon Graphics, Weitek, National Semiconductor, RCA, & Weitek. Murf received his BSEE from Drexel University and MSEE from the University of California, Los Angeles.
